Why we like them

We’ve had multiple vibrators over the years, but the one that we’ve kept and still use on a regular basis is Dame’s Arc. It has been a reliable friend over the past several years, and still works as it did from day one. It’s incredibly easy to use (making it a great choice for a first time vibrator purchaser) and looks great on a nightstand. It’s lightweight, soft, and charges fairly quickly.

We’ve also been eyeing their Eva, a **wearable hands-free clitoral vibrator. We haven’t seen anything like this in the market yet, and innovative sex-tech brands are a godsend. How did Dame come to be?

I consider myself a lifelong student of sexual health and credentialed sexologist, so after earning my Masters in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in sex therapy from Columbia, I decided to lend my passion and expertise to the world of sextech, particularly after learning more about the pleasure gap (aka the fact that only 39% of women “usually” orgasm versus 91% of men, on average). I co-founded Dame Products with my business partner, Janet Lieberman, to start necessary conversations, to listen rather than assume, and to create products that enhance intimacy especially for vulva-havers.

Where are your toys made?

Our vibrators and Pillo are all made in China. We have a very close working relationship with our vendors. Our engineering team visits them in person several times a year, and we can see first-hand that their practices are safe, ethical, and environmentally-friendly! Our Alu lubricant is made in the US.

What do your products come with?

All of our vibrators come with a USB charging cable and a user manual. Wall adapters are not included for any of our products. Eva comes with a charging base that has a lid for storage. Zee, Arc, Fin, Kip, and Pom come with fabric storage bags.
